CarWorld Website

The CarWorld website is a dynamic, responsive and user-friendly platform designed for searching through different makes of cars and utilising filters for more specific results.

This was my first project with NextJS and it was difficult but well worth it. I encountered a bug - scroll position was resetting when the search params were updated. I overcame this by rewriting my code to use states instead of storing data in params which fixed the issue. However, this meant that less of the components will be server-side rendered which will deteriorate the performance but in this case, given the scale of the project it was great trade off for the improvement of the UX.

YouTube Clone Application

The YouTube Clone Application is a web platform that emulates the core functionalities of the popular video-sharing website, YouTube. Developed using React.js and Material UI, this application provides users with a familiar and intuitive interface to explore, watch, and interact with video content. It uses RapidAPI for fetching information from YouTube, showing the same videos as the platform.

Terrazzo Natural Stone Website

This was a real-world project in which I created a website for a business that's making stairs, worktops, furniture, flooring & more using terrazzo or natural stone.

They wanted online presence in order to market their business and we worked together throughout the whole process in order to create website that will be visually appealing and they will like, simple and intuitive and also convert customers well.

Furniture Restoration Website

This website is designed for a local business where I work as an intern. The company expressed the need for a site with a similar look to their existing one but with improved manageability, particularly because they had over 50 subdomains with subtle distinctions.

To meet this requirement, I developed the website utilizing identical front-end templates. The variables were processed through EJS for parsing. Additionally, I gained familiarity with Plesk Obsidian while deploying the website to production.

Routimizer Web Application

This project involved developing a React web application with integrated Mapbox API to optimize multi-drop delivery routes for a logistics companies. Users could input delivery locations, and the application generated an optimized route using the Mapbox API's routing functionalities.

The app allowed real-time visualization, calculation of optimized routes, and consideration of factors like traffic. The aim of this project was for me to get comfortable in working with React and integrating third-party APIs.

This application is designed to help you manage and explore various sport events, whether you're organizing them or looking for tickets to attend.

It has several features including: event CRUD, user authentication, event discovery, ticket management and also incorporates Stripe Payments for purchasing paid events.
